Staff was very kind and room clean and comfortable. A plus was certainly the water available 24/24h. We changed from a fan room to an AC one, as weather was extremely hot and humid. Unfortunately AC rooms have no mosquito net, so not ideal if you prefer switching off sometime at night. Breakfast not very reach a tasty; we would.have expected at least some more fruits. Our 5th stay over 15yrs , simple and easy. Great location close to everything we love, good pool, air con, fridge. No restaurant anymore but there is a breakfast menu. Adult kids love that there is a Starbucks across the road. Don’t expect too much and you will be happy. We were. Very secure and safe. Very firm beds which is fine with us. อ่านต่อ

Nice and quiet location, friendly and helpful staff, free water, tea, fruits and cookies 24/7. The swimming pool isn’t too big but nice to chill (in the shadow so you won’t get too warm). The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is really nice, choice between 5 sets. อ่านต่อ

I stayed for 3 nights as a solo guest. I'm not interested in staying at big tall hotels with no atmosphere. Chiang Mai House had a homely and welcoming atmosphere. I felt relaxed and safe. Staff were friendly. Hotel was quaint and had charm. Lobby was nice and spotless but rooms a little outdated but clean and everything was functional. Pool was clean but a little cold. Included breakfast was great. Wifi was a little slow at times in the rooms but great in main lobby. It had everything needed around including $6.00 can Thai massages that were great. Chiang Mai Thai guesthouse had everything: location, clean, friendly, and excellent value. It was centrally located yet on a street that was quiet. They had a choice of breakfasts and the pool was refreshing after a long hot day. Not only would I recommend it I would stay there again. อ่านต่อ

Though very close to Thapae Gate, the small side street is quiet, and retains the charm of a traditional neighborhood. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel swimming pool is maintained regularly. The fan room we were in was nothing special, but met our purposes. One small problem: There is not much space reserved for motorcycle parking. Chiang Mai Thai House is a privately owned Hotel. It has been running for a number of years . The rooms are clean, the restaurant serves great food. The swimming pool is very well maintained. To compliment all of these points, the staff are fantastic! Always helpful, great language skills. The rooms have cable TV, great movie channel if you want to relax after a hard day on a tour! The staff speak several languages & will go out of their way to help you. They have been working together for a long time as a team & this shows in their professional and efficient approach to making your stay a very pleasant one. Chiang Mai Thai House is centrally located to many attractions in Chiang Mai such as the Night Bazaar, the weekend market & only 10 minutes walk to the river. 3 minutes to Thapae Gate. THe swimming pool & restaurant are spotlessly clean. The restaurant has a selection of traditional Thai dishes along with some Western dishes which are very good. Chiang Mai Thai House can recommend and book many tours from their travel section. All of which are reasonably priced and competitively priced. Don't waste time looking elsewhere, they have it all! I have been staying at CMTH every time I've travel to Chiang Mai for the last 9 yrs.. The staff are amazing.. The location is perfect.. The pool is great.. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms this time.. So nice to have a hot bath at the end of a busy day.. Comfy bed and a huge room..
