My partner can not recommend Kessara Hotel highly enough. This is a hotel that prides itself on providing the highest standard of service. The staff are the most friendliest and helpful people I have met. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and is an oasis in the middle of the city. 5.0 star all around. Easy check-in and very friendly staff. I decided to spend my birthday day in Bangkok. I checked in and stepped out for dinner. When I came back to my room, there was a huge birthday cake waiting for me. I was pleasantly surprised. You can't find this type of customized service in large hotels. I stayed in the Deluxe room (Room #7). The uni itself is elegant, breath-taking, and masterfully traditional. Would definitely stay here again.อ่านต่อ

Nice & clean place with lovely garden. But, we had a really bad incident and feel it wasn’t handled well by the hotel. One morning while my partner was in the shower, the light inside the shower fell. She went to catch it in fear of it falling into the water and she was electrocuted. Because of the shock she slipped and fell hard on the floor. She had to crawl out of the shower and was in pain. All the electricity in the room went out. We told the staff what happened all they said was that they’ll call maintenance but didn’t even offer to call a doctor. The light wasn’t fixed by that evening and it was still dangling by the wire. We told the staff we didn’t want to stay in the room again, so we were moved. My partner was in pain and had difficulty walking for days. We were not offered anything to compensate for what happened. She was very very lucky to not have had something worse happen to her. After we left we wrote to the hotel and expressed our disappointment. They never wrote backอ่านต่อ

Have you ever wanted to have a glimpse into how the old Bangkok once looked? Well this is your chance but completely modernized inside. An old teak house in Silom with period piece and reproductions but very comfortable. Staff are very attentive as you would except in Thailand. Comfy beds and great areas to laze away a day or two in the middle of town. Completely enjoyed my two nights here and would highly recommend Kessera to other discriminating travelers.อ่านต่อ

Amazingly well hidden in busy Bangkok with good privacy if one is not out in the bustling city streets. Love its old boutique deco keeping the old charm of a traditional wooden Thai house. Intricate old brass fittings in the bathroom are details that put into the efforts of making this little abode different. The staffs are awesome and super friendly and helpful. I and my mom stay here for 2 nights. We chose the largest double bedroom (King bed) but it's facing the street with noise. We have been warned about the noise that might occur during the night (it's not a big street but you can hear vehicle's noise occasionally. They planed to install noise-proof windows though) but I still preferred this room since there's a lot of light and roomy. my mom slept well through the night and i used ear plug, so it was ok. The bed were clean and comfortable. We loved the ambience and surrounding area of this wooden house. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were super nice.อ่านต่อ

It was a beautiful preserved property. Gorgeous room and comfortable bed. The staff went all the way out to make our stay a very comfortable one. We celebrated a birthday and received a surprise cake and hand written card from the staff.
The only set back was no air conditioning in the common area and it was a really hot time to be in Bangkok. We will definitely be back!

We saw this "gem" already a few times, radiating but almost secretly hidden in a side street in Silom but now we finally had the opportunity to book it kessara boutique hotel in a century old but beautifully restaurated building. A small hotel but definitely a crown jewel of the hotel branche in Bangkok. It's a bit difficult to find the correct description but a few words come close: unique, sincere hospitality, peaceful and meditative oasis. The wooden construction makes the hotel almost like a living, welcoming being with her own sounds, look and feel. Somehow the beautiful atmosphere reflects on the amazing staff as well. There are too many nice details to tell but even among the normally friendly staff you find in Thai hotels , this staff seems even to outperform the best trained staff of 5 star hotels. We loved the hotel! We had stayed a few days in Sukhumvit and saw this hotel recommended on agoda. It was the best choice we made for the trip. The staff and my husband had prepared a birthday surprise for me, cakes and a beautiful arrangement waiting for us after a long day out. The staff were wonderful and the room was so luxuriously comfortable. Only thing was there were many mosquitoes. Location was very convenient and near to the BTS station and mall and plenty of cafes and restaurants.อ่านต่อ

100 year old house that is beautifully renovated. Only has 7 that rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Take note that there is no Aircon in common area.

This new little gem was such a delightful surprise find!
My trip was unexpectedly extended & Hotel where I was staying could not extend my room. I had to move. I needed to stay in same area to be able to get to work easily.
This little place was perfectly located between 2 Skytrain stops. It is a meticulously restored old Thai house, which I loved. Amazing finding busy business district! Service was wonderful, old style graciousness & genuinely engaging.
The breakfast was bar none, the best I’ve ever had in a hotel (I’m a frequent traveler & GLUTEN FREE).
Now there are a few considerations: it is a shoeless home (I’m used to that), there is a slick & beautiful small step staircase (no elevator & my husband has big feet, so he had to be careful not to fall).
Hotel wasn’t full, so the thin walls weren’t an issue for us. But last day of week we heard neighbors TV.
If that works for you, I think this place is exceptional. I can’t wait to go back!!อ่านต่อ
The room is comfortable, clean and dry, like a sweet home.
The house is vintage style but the equipment inside is new .
Staff extremely nice and like a Friend who willing to share information which is very useful for us, she recommended the floating market to us and patiently tell us how to go there.
