We enjoyed staying in a studio room. It was like we were in a treehouse and was so beautiful! While there wasn't any air conditioning (studio rooms), the fans and open-air was refreshing. The hotel itself is right on the beach and the sunrise in the morning over the water was spectacular. Restaurant was excellent too! Overall, vibe was relaxing and quiet and hotel architecture was very Thai.
The purpose of our trip was to check out the area for a destination wedding. Francis was able to arrange for our transfers to the hotel from Phuket and set up meetings with other vendors so that we can better plan for the wedding. Great resort with good staff. We had a Hornbill villa on top of the hill with an amazing view. Service and facilities was good with a few flaws (sometimes we had to wait a long time for the buggy, no one would answer the telephone at main reception for a while, AC in villa did not work well enough, but couldn't be fixed). Private beach on the island. Staffs and Manager have a very good hospitality. Good facility and compliment activities. However, the room that i stay has no air condition. During daytime will be quite hot and humid. During nighttime, is ok but lots of mosquitos. Resort provides mosquitos's protective spray though. Great place to visit.อ่านต่อ

It has a beautiful private beach, named Andaman, and we very much enjoyed swimming there. Private beachNo air conditioner. Hot weather. Quite far from the center of the island.We expected a romantic trip at Ko Yao because we heard the island is quiet. The hotel surrounding helps you feel relax since it has garden next to the room and has private beach. The location is quite far from the center of the island and transportation to the center of the island is quite expensive. Overall is ok but the only thing that really disappointed me is that the hotel has no air conditioner!! We did actually left the hotel before the original schedule one day. That meant we paid without staying another night because we can't stand the temperature there. We couldn't sleep until 3 am!!!
Anyway if you don't mind the temperature and like to stay close to the nature, this hotel is a acceptable.อ่านต่อ

We just came back from 2 weeks vacation in this wonderful Villa resort. It has the absolute right mixture from nice and very comfortable villa, fantastic garden / beach, quiet area and very nice staff. Here are some details:
Villa: there are 15 villas at the beach, we had a beach villa suite which has a large terrace, where we spend many evenings; bathroom is huge, with a nice shower and bathtube, partely open so you here all noises from the animal/forrest. And it had a very large and comfortable bed. Room for clothes is small, here they could have provided more space.
There is even a Nespresso machine and water cooker.
BUT: you have to know that the villa is open, so there are mosquitos, sometimes small bugs in the villa or bathroom, once I even saw a squirrel. This is normal for such villas in the tropes, therefore it did not bother us at all. Pool is not to big, but has a great view; beach is good and you could even swim when low tide, Massage and Staff overall are very nice.อ่านต่อ

We had an amazing week at Koyao Island Resort. Beautiful beach with an infinity pool overlooking it. Great place for relaxing by the beach but there are also activities if you fancy it. We did the yoga which was a great experience as took place right by the beach. Amazing massages at the spa and the restaurant had the best massaman we’d had in Thailand. We enjoyed Koyao Island Resort, but had back luck with the weather during our stay. It rained most of every day so we weren’t able to go on any excursions to explore other islands and were stuck at the hotel. It has little to offer for entertainment when raining and there’s only one restaurant which we grew tired of after 4 days. Our experience would have been much better had we had nice weather.อ่านต่อ

I have really hard time prior to my check in due to the managers never react to my request upon the transfer arrangement. Their reservation manager basically ignored my email (for weeks) until I get Agoda to step in. Even after this she still took a couple of days to react; once I have done my booking of transfer, I asked about the WiFi, she seems mistaken my booking location, so I reply to correct her my booking and since then no reply from her at all..
During my stay, we are very happy with every thing except one day I called 244(our personal assistant during the stay), asking for help to make reservation for a Restaurent, she ask me 3 times - which villa are you in, after all I mentioned my request thus she just cut my line...so I called 240 instead for help; a fine young man picked up and do up every thing smoothly..

We stopped over in the hill-side tents for three nights and they were fabulous. The isolated view and high quality of the tent and service was great. We did feel that the main location/reception near the beach where the restaurant and bar is located was tired and not so clean. The hotel scooter/bike hire we used, both bikes had issues on collection with lights not working properly or flat tyre. We were then told to pop to local garage to get it fix.. (we requested a new bike). The general staff were excellent but some of the management staff almost had a slight attitude. I would recommend this hotel but not the best we came across in Thailand.
