A small, quaint hotel with peaceful energy. Clean, quiet, and extremely accommodating staff. There’s also a small pool in the middle of the hotel for a quick dip. They offer a breakfast buffet each morning for 150 Bhat. Expect a small continental-style with two hot dishes that rotate daily. They also cook omelettes and fresh fried eggs for you too. Not a huge selection, but great for a quick bite. All the food was great quality. They provide easy booking for tourism activities. Their prices were much lower than the tourist info centers nearby and had a great time on the island hopping tour. They also offer transportation to various islands and the airport for really cheap as well. Would definitely come back here again! อ่านต่อ

I’ve enjoyed my stay in Whalecome Aonang Resort. The place is in a good location, and has a nice small pool. The room has all facilities , a very comfortable bed, and is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful! อ่านต่อ

Lovely small complex of bungalows. Rooms very clean but a bit basic with not much storage space. Could not fault the staff all were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and considering you are in the centre of Ao-Nang it is exceptionally quiet. Breakfast was very reasonable ar 150 baht with as much coffee, juice, fruit and cereal you want and then you also have the choice of eggs cooked to order. The pool though a little small was perfect if you just want a cool off. The beach is only 200 meters away with lots of long boats to take you to the nearby islands. อ่านต่อ

After researching every hotel within the area, I decided to book here and am so glad I did. The hotel itself is very serene and the rooms are adorable, not to mention very clean. The walk to the the beach is about 5 minutes and it’s in very close proximity to plenty of shops/restaurants. Staff were great and the breakfast was delish for 150 baht. Only booked for one night but wish we had for more! Also, can’t beat the price. อ่านต่อ

Overall Whalecome Aonang Resort is a great value and in a great location. The rooms are spacious with walk up sliding doors looking out to the courtyard. I didn't like that housekeeping would keep the shades open after they cleaned the rooms, revealing all our luggage to everyone that walked by. It's not a big resort so there aren't too many rooms or too many people, making it a quiet setting. There's a nice pool that many people used, but we did not. Nor did we get the breakfast. The location is up a gravel hill from the main road, maybe not the best for those that aren't very mobile, but it's in close walking distance to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. You can also rent a motorbike for only 250 baht which is a great deal and from someone you can trust. They also had refreshments for sale including beer at 7-eleven prices. อ่านต่อ

While there are not a ton of bells and whistles, it was the best value of the 10 hotels we stayed at during our Thailand trip. Cleanliness is always my top priority when picking hotels and whalecome was spotless during our stay. The staff does a great job of up keep of the property. อ่านต่อ

Well located hotel with a great Thai food stall next door. Walking distance to the beach. The pool is a bit small to do laps but good for chilling with beers. Rooms are very cute and nicely designed. Very clean and quiet at night. We had a great time staying there for two nights. อ่านต่อ

We stayed there 3 nights. In general, it is a clean and safe place to stay, even though it is slightly expensive considering the facilities. Unfortunately in our bathroom there was a bad, rusty smell but it looked like it was coming from the sewerage system, so there was not much to do about it during the stay. Also, the poll is very very small, it is not really for swimming but more like for the kids to play in. But we knew this in advance. Otherwise, we liked the friendly staff and the rooms. อ่านต่อ

location was great and service was pretty good but the room name is deceiving cause there's no balcony, it's just a small front porch. the floor was sticky and there were centipedes in the bathroom! we stayed for less than 24 hours and saw a centipedes THREE times!!! อ่านต่อ

the pictures on Agoda and the Whalecome Aonang Resort web sites were misleading. Pool and out side pictures misleading. Interior room pictures accurate. the old resort, Aonang tropical was much better! It is a shame they tore it down and built this new resort. อ่านต่อ
