I absolutely loved my stay at Laem Sila! The villa was spacious and gorgeous, the view from my balcony took my breath away every morning and my favorite part was how far away it was from the noise and chaos of the main road. I rented a motorbike for my 14 days and had no problem driving myself up and down the mountain. However, the hotel staff will drive you to the main road and back for free if you prefer. Breakfast included fresh fruit, eggs, breakfast meat, bread and pastries, and even fresh cold coconuts to drink. I would absolutely stay here again if ever in Samui! This hotel was ment to be for my 30th birthday and spoilt it the room was shocking broken windows and bug screens doors didn't close properly the room was falling apart the kitchen items were dirty wires hanging out of the wall where the old key fob was marks on bedding walls etc .. we had traveled a long way and didn't get there until late so stopped for the night because we had our 4 year old with us the electric kept on tripping out lots of bugs and geckos in the room .. I messaged the hotel to tell them we are not happy and will be leaving in the morning I was in tears and hardly slept the bed was like being on the floor in the morning they offered us a upgrade but we had already paid for a new hotel down the road we weren't offered any refund so that was £200 waisted what could of been spent enjoying my birthday .. all the other rooms look nicer and that one was just the old one they started with or something .. the only good thing was the view and the staff seemed niceอ่านต่อ

The view from our villa was amazing and all the other little issues doesn't matter. The little issues we had was with the location it was quite far away from the center and it was on top of a hill. Liam was wonder to provide free transport to and from the main road. I will definitely stay there again.อ่านต่อ

Friendly and helpful staff, we could rent a motorscooter from the staff and that made traveling much easier. The hotel is a little harder to access, but they offer a free shuttle from the main road to the hotel. The view of the room is breathtaking and the room is very big with comfy beds. This property stands on a mountain side, it's great if you don't mind walking some steps to and from breakfast and to the small but cosy swimming pools. The hosts will drive you down to a local private beach which also has a small restaurant and will pick you up whenever you call.

We were drawn to this resort by the good reviews. It is true that the resort is set on a very steep hill. We hired a small car locally and that was fine. The accommodation was spacious and there was a small kitchen where we prepared our own breakfasts. The manager is very helpful and friendly as were all the staff. The closest beach is coral cove which is great for snorkelling. Would definitely go to Laemsila resort again.อ่านต่อ

Nice location, way up on a hill that provides excellent views over Koh Samui. The room, kitchen and balcony areas were excellent. Clean, well maintained, and everything looked new. The bathroom was huge and well designed, the balcony area had multiple chairs, loungers, and a plenty of space to hang wet stuff. The guy who runs the place (Packorn?) was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, they run a free shuttle to the local road and beach, and the pools are fantastic to visit anytime. The only drawback was the wifi, it was hit and miss at times. Located a bit up on the mountain, the little traditional-looking houses are beautifully scattered on the hillside. I had their smallest - and closest to the breakfast area, so I didn't have to climb so many stairs unless I wanted to use the swimming pools at the top. Free taxi service to/from main road if you call Pakoan who is very friendly and helpful. Recommended - if you're okay with being a bit removed from the beach. The view is good.อ่านต่อ

After couple days in Beach Resort, the stay in mountain village was relax, quite and peaceful. Each of accommodation is isolated, include bed, kitchen and bathroom (the wall was made from natural rock). The Woodhouse was built on the rock, really unique. We enjoyed our stay there, and the staff were friendly. The only disadvantage was the villa was quite hidden in the mountain, and was inconvenient if you don't have your own transportation (From Villa to Lamai Beach/Night Market needs 600 THB for return trips), and there were only 1 restaurant for dining.
from personal experience, the villa is good for a short stay. Is a definitely the isolated and relax place but definitely not the night life lovers' best choice.อ่านต่อ

Me and my friend picked this resort on a last minute and I must say it was the best decision we made on our journey across Thailand. We love Koh Samui and this resort gave us the real feel of nature, local hospitality and also comfort. It is placed up on a very steep hill which is impossible to walk up but don't worry, the staff (Pakorn is such a nice and kind person!) drives you to the main road and back anytime you need for free. The views from the bungalows are simply incredible, the breakfast was really tasty, spotlessly clean and very comfortable spacious rooms and beds. I can't wait to get back and I'm 100% sure I'm back next year! it is really a beautiful place for vacation.If you just want to hang around nearby, they will drive you down to the road for free. I adored this hotel.
The view was absolutely astounding. The staff here was so kind, helpful, and generous. This hotel is all the way up the mountain, so we needed to call them to drive us up/down in a truck and to where we wanted to go.
The rates for the room were very affordable, and they were also able to drive us to the airport when we left.
I HIGHLY recommend this place. The value is just incredible and we loved our stay. If we ever come back to Koh Samui, we will stay here in a heartbeat.อ่านต่อ

Not on the beach, but everything else makes up for it: great views of the ocean and neighbouring islands Koh Phangan and Koh Tao as well as Chaweng Beach. High up against the mountain of Chaweng Noi affords the view. A lot of stairs and steep drive to get there, but worth it. Removed from the hustle and bustle, which we liked. Easy to get to Chaweng or Lamai when we felt like experiencing some nightlife or a day on the beach. Chaweng was our choice as Synergy offered loungers, the use of a pool, restaurant/bar clean facilities, change rooms and shower. The management at Laemsila is hands on and the staff went out of their way to accommodate all our needs.อ่านต่อ
