อยู่รอบภูเขา อากาศเย็นชื่อโรงแรมในการจองคือ Goldmine Resort แต่ด้านหน้าทางเข้าจะใช้ชื่อ เหมืองคำ รีสอร์ท ระหว่างทางเข้า-ออกโรงแรมไม่มีไฟทาง ใช้เวลาเดินทาง 15 นาทีจะถึงถนนคนเดินเชียงราย ตอนไปมีพักทั้งหมดแค่ 2 ห้อง และยังอยู่ระหว่างปรับปรุง มีนั่งร้านอยู่รอบๆ ห้องพัก เลยดูไม่ค่อยดีเท่าไหร่ ข้างในห้องพักห้องน้ำไม่มีมือจับ ทางเจ้าของแจ้งว่ากำลังเร่งปรับปรุง มีงานก่อสร้างห้องพักเพิ่มเติม (ให้ทันช่วงปีใหม่ ซึ่งมีการจองเต็มหมดแล้ว) สำหรับเจ้าของอัธยาศัยดี เป็นกันเอง บรรยากาศของที่พักอยู่รอบๆ ภูเขา กลางคืนอากาศเย็น ถ้าหากงานปรับปรุง และงานก่อสร้างแล้วเสร็จ บรรยากาศโดยภาพรวมน่าจะดีขึ้นกว่านี้เยอะ อ่านต่อ

Not a resort5 kilometers + outside of town down a road filled with potholes is an ugly row of cement cell like rooms with no pictures on the dirty walls. There is a strong musty mildew smell that gave me a headache. The windows that look nice in the pictures have not been washed in at least a year, and the upper windows have no curtains, so anyone can easily look in if they want to. Also the outside lights shine in and make it hard to sleep at night. If that doesn’t keep you up, the barking dogs probably will. The attitude of obvious neglect can be found up close and personal in the restaurant too. I was the only one in the restaurant and was met with an unwelcoming attitude from the owners, so I decided I wasn’t hungry after all. My wife did not feel safe here, and there are no other restaurants or stores nearby. No internet, no fridge, Thai channels only on the TV. Basically you’re in the middle of nowhere in an ugly unpleasant room. อ่านต่อ

1) Staff/Owners - this is a family run hotel and we were made to feel part of the family 2) Food - Owner is an excellent chef 3) Location - Beautiful setting in a quite locationWe are a couple with a young baby and we stayed about 4 nights at the Goldmine. It was a little tricky to find (but a call to the resort fixed that and we were rescued in person by the owner!). We loved our stay were made to feel part of the family and for sure would return. The owner is also an excellent chef and is happy to adapt his food to your taste. The Thai breakfast is legendary! Location is quite and would be good for hikers, cyclists etc Note: There was some construction going on (Dec 12) but this did not really impact our stay. Good beds, nice friendly staff, nice gardensWe only were at this resort for one night. Do not want to stay in the city and we have a friendly dog. This resort offert us the opportunity to relax, enjoy our stay with our family members and dog and had a good breakfast. อ่านต่อ
