Jomkitti was beyond my expectation in every way. New hotel in awesome location- You can easily walk around in old town, Sunday night market, and even Saturday night market if you will. The room was spacy, nice and clean. The hair dryer was with diffuser which was very convenient for ladies. Juice and soda were plenty and free in mini bar. Hotel also prepared cookies, fruits and candies in public area for free, my kids loved it. Breakfast was another surprise, the food was in variety and yummy, another plus was they changed dishes every day which was so great for people like us staying for couple nights.
All staffs were welcome, warm and very helpful and that made the staying so joyful.

I brought my family and stays few days in Chiang Mai.
The it is located at the center of Chiang Mai. There's view of Wet Chedi Luang.
There is a big public balcony to watch pupils walking to Anubban Chiang Mai school every morning.
It is quiet at night.
My son likes the swimming pool very much! He is naughty, but the staffs in the hotel are tolerant.
The cafe severs good dishes on the 1st floor, with good price. Because we care about the food safety, and we see the quality of breakfast, so we felt comfortable to order dishes for dinner in the cafe.
The price is not very low, but it worth it !

During a 2.5 week tour of Bangkok, Chiang Mai and islands off Phuket, it was the Jomkitti that stood out as the best accommodation of all, even though the other hotels or resorts were 4- or 5-star.
Beautiful rooms, the nicest imaginable staff, and a great location in the old city. The breakfast buffet is small but high quality, covering all the basics from bread, pastries and cereal to Western and Thai cooked food. The garlic prawns I had at breakfast one morning were better than any I had elsewhere in Thailand, including on the coast, and the waffles and other fare are a nice touch.อ่านต่อ

We stayed in the suite so we love the space and cleanliness. Enjoyed the view of the big temple behind our room. Appreciate the free mini bar in the room as well as the free biscuits, fruits and drinks offered near the lobby.
Breakfast is very good. Nice cozy space for breakfast. The cafe at the lobby is quite cool too.
Staff are very polite and friendly. Good location with easy access to restaurants and tourist spots. The map and information given upon check-in was very useful.
Just a qualm though. I requested for an airport transport for my arrival. The hotel did not reply to my message. So I booked for a separate airport transport on my own. However, upon my arrival, the hotel transport appeared at the airport without informing me. Since I’ve already paid for my own transport, I just pursued with it. The hotel should have replied to any guests’ special requests made online.

I would definitely go back. Chat and the staff were extremely accomodating and helpful. Hotel is in a central location. Can be a little noisy since school is across the street but great for a short stay to explore the Old City. The Executive Suite was spacious and reasonably priced.อ่านต่อ

My friend and I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room is very clean, the shower is perfect. Location is very convinient. Hotel's staff is helpfull and kind. Pros: a) location is central/within the walls of old city. B) rooms and facilities are brand new c) staff is Fantastic - they speak English, very prompt and professional and courteous.
Cons: only One small nitpick: Even if there are two guests in a room, they only give you 1 key... which you need in order to turn on the electricity in the room... which means, if 1 person is out and about with the key,, and one person stays in the room: the person in the room has no lights or AC!!
other than this - I was very very happy with my stay!!
Airport transfer was cheap; breakfast was very good; and it's very clean and modern.
Please note also: there is an elementary school across the street! So if you plan on sleeping in during the mornings... maybe don't come to Chiangmai??อ่านต่อ

We went here for the loy krathong festival. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke english quiet fluently. And they taught us how to make the flower of the festival. Location is 15 minutes walk distance to the food area. Very clean. But the breakfast very standard.อ่านต่อ

We were most impressed by the staff members who were professional and attentive. The hotel is brand new and our room was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect in 4-star Western hotels.
The location is most convenient if you plan to walk around the city center. The hotel is located right in front of an elementary school, so expect lots of traffic during the morning hours (drop-off) and mid-afternoon (pick-up). Limited parking, but not an issue if you don't have cars or visitors.
Breakfast can be made-to-order, plus the basic yogurt, cereal, toast, juice, options for the buffet. Our breakfasts were well prepared, delicious, and definitely made with great care.
We really enjoyed our stay at Jomkitti and had already recommended this hotel to a friend who will be visiting Chiang Mai in Feb.อ่านต่อ

To sum it up: No character, minimal service, hot room. We stayed 5 nights. It was the worst value in a lodging that I've ever experienced in 6 trips to Thailand.
We booked this hotel looking for a special experience (paid about double what I normally have in previous trips to Chaing Mai), and chose it based on reviews and location.
We had said in our booking that we would arrive between 8-9pm which we did. Upon arrival, our room was about 28C. (4th floor, noticably hotter on each level as you go up.) It took a few hours to get it down to a temperature cool enough to sleep. Basically, there is one a/c unit and it is in the entry way, it is underpowered for the size of room and not in a good place for circulation.
