I usually stay in the sister hotel (De Chai Colonial) but that was full. I think the Deco is better. The location is great, breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly. The rooms are quite big, comfy beds and it is quiet. Bathrooms can be slipperly so watch it. The swimming pool is a bit small and more like a 'dip' area to cool down. The gym is adequate to stay in trim for a reasonable workout. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel. I have already booked the other sister hotel (De Chai Oriental) because I want to know what that is like.อ่านต่อ

Booked a deluxe room for 2A2C, one of our child slept on the sofa, which is fine. Location is great, walking distance to Tha Pae Gate and the Night Market. However, hot water goes intermittently off during shower and no towel at the pool area. Also the staff could not understand English properly, I have to repeat myself 3 times before she could comprehend my question and conflicting information was given for the breakfast buffet pricing. Not the usual Thai reception ( being seated in the sofa and getting a welcome drink while the paperwork is being done ), but quick check in standing at the reception counter. Room was a bit dark to my taste, but nice. Strange that on entering the room one cannot put the lights on. Only way is by the bed. But at night it is dark ...
Room is OK. Aircon quite loud.
Bathroom has a nice big shower. All amenities are present.
Breakfast : quite good. Enough choice. Eggstation, fresh fruits, salad, cereals ...
Hot items vary every day.
Some staff are very kind and attentive. Some are not so well trained. A bit at random.

we booked the two bedrooms room. it is not big as our expectation, there is only a toilet together with the shower which we don't expect. so it take a bit time when every one freshen up after a hot day. the breakfast provided was good enough and quite a variety. the hotel staff are friendly ,helpful and honest. I'm actually forgot my iPad when check out, and the staff return it to me when we waiting for our car to airport. wonderful time we have in Chiang mai and this hotel.อ่านต่อ

We were with our 3 young children and really liked the hotel. It's clean, modern and completely new. It's well located (3 mins from the old city) and the stuff couldn't stop playing with our children. We'll be back to De Chai the Deco on our next visit to Chiang Mai.อ่านต่อ

Loved this hotel. It's on a quiet soi, very close to Thapae Gate, which means it's close to most everything. I was in a deluxe pool view room. Very nice. Plenty of room. Breakfast was fine, all that you would expect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Didn't use the pool so can't comment on that, but it looked nice.อ่านต่อ
