เป็นโรงแรมที่มีห้องพักจำนวนไม่มาก แต่ประทับใจที่สุด ตั้วแต่การต้อนรับของพนักงาน ความสะอาด สวยงาม กลิ่นในห้องพักหอมมาก ได้ห้องพักชั้น 4 ที่ทีระเบียงชมวิว และเพดานสูงลิบลิ่ว ห้องพักติดถนน แต่ไม่มีเสียงรบกวนจากข้างนอกสักนิด เพราะกระจกหนามากๆ อุปกรณ์ในห้องทุกอย่างดีหมด อาหารเช้าเป็น set menu ให้เลือก แต่อร่อยเหมือนกินตามร้านอาหารดีๆ แถมยังเติมได้ มีตินิดเดียวตรงหมอนค่อนข้างแบน และฝักบัวในห้องน้ำเป็นแบบ rain shower แบบเดียวซึ่งส่วนตัวไม่ชอบฝักบัวแบบนั้น โรงแรมอยู่ย่านถนนคนเดินเชียงใหม่ ซึ่งสะดวกมากในวันที่มีตลาด อ่านต่อ

This is a lovely small boutique hotel. Inexpensive but very comfortable for a few nights stay. Rooms facing the street can be kind of loud if you are sensitive to noise. Lovely interior decor and very friendly staff. Only downside is the breakfast menu. Its mostly Thai food. But there is a great cafe diagonally across from the hotel that has good breakfast choices. อ่านต่อ

Really great hotel with phenomenal ambience. The lobby area is so peaceful and serene, I could spend my days just sitting there in front of the pond. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always said hi and smiled every time I walked by. Breakfast was included and delicious. It was centrally located in the Old City area of Chiang Mai, with a beautiful temple right across the street. Pretty much everything I wanted to see in the city was a short walk away, including the night market and other attractions. All the tours knew where it was, so easy to get picked up from for whatever your you book. อ่านต่อ

I love the Makka hotel, so I wanted to give a try to the Makkachiva, which looks even more gorgeous from outside. The rooms and the decor are very similar to the Makka, as well as the service and the breakfast. My toilet had a problem (stuck handle, so at the end I removed the lid and after every use I manually stopped the water from flushing continuously). Beside this, everything is just like the Makka; but I found it a bit darker and colder. So I would recommend it, but personally I believe I'll go back to the Makka next time. อ่านต่อ

Makkachiva is a wonderfully stylish, clean, and comfortable hotel, located right in the heart of the old city of Chiang Mai and only a stone’s throw away from the Sunday Walking Market and temples. The breakfast (served until noon!) was quite good and cooked to order with a number of choices. The staff there were lovely too. A quirk is that you have to remove your shoes on the ground floor and not wear shoes in the room, which keeps it clean too! Highly recommended!! อ่านต่อ

Lovely helpful staff. Table service for breakfast which was delicious. They have a garden to the rear which if it had a small pool would make the hotel perfect. Chiang Mai is a fab place to wander and discover! อ่านต่อ

To start with the hotel is located in a perfect location in the Old City. Only a short walk to anywhere you want to go. The hotel itself is impressive because it’s spotless in terms of cleanliness, has an old charm based on the design but also modern touch, and the lobby is open to the outside with no doors and a fountain in the middle foyer. It’s kept so clean probably because you are supposed to take your shoes off when going upstairs to the rooms. There’s art along all walls with rooms circling the inner open foyer. There are only three floors so it’s easy to take the stairs or an elevator if you must. The rooms were bigger than most modern hotels and the bathrooms had great water pressure and hot temperatures. The air conditioning worked too well and my room cooled down easily. Free breakfast is included which is ordered from a menu with American or asian style options. Since I should say something constructive, my king size bed only had two pillows and could have used more. อ่านต่อ

Makkachiva is exceptionally amazing!! Think yoga, meditation and zen fused into a hotel property with a minimalist chic twist. Outstanding staff that are professional and gracious. It is conveniently located on a main road without the noise factor and a short walking distance to the Old City night market. The ambiance and design are impeccable from the time you remove your shoes at the threshold near the courtyard water display. I especially loved the hanging plants and the open skylight. Makkachiva hotel is highly recommended to stay in with a very clean, peaceful and full of nice pictures around like art gallery centre. The breakfast is good and serve with personal touch, staff are friendly and polite. In future, if my husband and I will travel in Chiang Mai, surely will be back to this hotel where surrounded with the nice restaurants nearby. อ่านต่อ

I booked. A room with a city view only to find that a city view was an ugly view into people backyard. I asked the front desk lady about the mixup and she said I booked. Agarden view. I showed my booking to a young man at the front desk only to be told by him that the garden view was a city view. I think this is deceptive advertising. I felt this was bait and switch. The room was tiny and the bathroom was even tinier. I would recommend this hotel for backpackers and for those who are not claustrophobic. Beautiful building though with great art work. The hotel room is very unique , that was my first expensive of Makkachiva, Location is good, Breakfast is excellent , i had my breakfast every morning in the hotel instead of street food, which i like it so much, staff are very friendly and helpful, I definitely would stay in this wonderful hotel again ( next time when i visit CM) The greeny plants were eye catching, it was good to take selfie and pics in the courtyard , like it so much ♡ . อ่านต่อ

Beautiful hotel, an oasis in the city. Like walking into an art gallery. They require guests to remove shoes in the lobby (they give you sandals to wear inside), so the hotel is spotlessly clean. Great breakfast - fruit, coffee / tea, juice, and a choice of a freshly cooked main dish. Friendly staff. Free mini bar (no alcohol). อ่านต่อ
