We loved the beach villa. The infinity and resort pool were a must as the tidal nature of the beach did not encourage sea swimming. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. There are a couple of good local restaurants, as well as the Neem restaurant on site. Great views, but very quiet in the 1st part of July.

The best thing about this resort are the Villas, there is no swimming due to rocks and the strong tides. View from main pool spectacular. Worst about the resort. Incompetent management and worst level of service wirh no smiles I have ever experienced in Thailand (and I have been travelling in all parts of Thailand for more than 22 years). Guest are not expected to drink more than 1 Coffee Latte at breafast and are not supposed to order a Coffee at 10:07 am (breakfast finishes at promptly 10:00 am) when waiting for 45 min for breakfast to get served. Resort tried to charge for breakfast for children although it was included on Agoda voucher. Resort refused to provide compementary second blanker for the bed and requested an extra charge of 500 baht per night just for a further blanket. I asked to speak to the manager but was told he was absent. No manager, no Service level- very sad as the small property and the Villas as auch are quite nice.อ่านต่อ

I have nothing to complaint for the price ive paid for a beach front pool villa. But on the day we arrive, there is no electricity for 3 hours. And when we leave also face the same issue.. i wonder why there is no electricity in the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and luxurious. The property is peaceful with the sounds of the surf and ocean at night. The view of sunset is breathtaking. The hotel staff and the restaurant staff are incredibly kind and attentive. Annie, the manager, was so friendly, warm and helpful. She and the rest of the staff were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the Neem restaurant and their wait staff. Breakfast was delicious. Pla and Pray were wonderful.อ่านต่อ

We were both looking forward to spending some time at tides it's in a remote location north chaweng. the place is quite comfortable and the staff are really friendly but on the negative side it was an endless parade of timeshare customers coming through the place being pitched timeshare deals. It was off putting lying by the pool listening to endless time share sales pitches by varous sales representatives it really put a negative spin on the holiday
My advice to tides is to have the sales representatives take the customers to front office to do the sales pitch rather than at the restaurant whereby paying customers are forced to listen to the endless sales pitchs. As a result we took our lunch business outside the hotel.อ่านต่อ

They could've warn potencial guests that there's actually no sea there. The tides are so massive so during the day the sea, literally, disapears and all that is left is a kilometer wide wet sands and rocks. If you imagine long day on the beach by the sea, than just go somewhere else. The location is also somewhat disappointing - wherever you want to go you would need a taxi. The place itself is nice. The pool vilas are very comfortable, spacy, well furnitured and equiped. The staff is trying to be helpful but obviously lacks professional training. They do not speak good english that makes communication quite complicated. Still there is UK team managing the membership part of the hotel's operations that steps when the reception staff is stacked with trabbles to explane itself or provide service.อ่านต่อ

Is a very good and quiet hotel. Staff is helpful too. Good for honeymoon. Everything in hotel is very new but the location abit off. Thanks that the staff recommended us to rent a motorbike at 300baht per day. We are able to travel everywhere in Samui without problem. Good to get a rented motorbike there.อ่านต่อ

Fantastic oasis of calm right on the beach. It's a small resort with around 12 or so separate villas some with pools and a couple with sea views. We had one with a jacuzzi in the garden. The villa itself has a living room/diner with kitchen facilities and a separate bedroom with en-suite shower room. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors let's you open the place up. Lots of hardwood and neutral colours gives it a nice calm feel. The infinity pool has fantastic views out to sea. The bar is open air and beautifully done. We only ate breakfast but it was very good and all of the staff were well trained and very polite. Would definitely recommend Tides.อ่านต่อ
