Great location, 5 minute walk to the beach or there’s a complementary tuktuk to take you there. Comfy bed, and a rain shower in the bathroom. Terrific food choices all over from street food to upscale dining. Loved the salt water pool. Hit or miss with the breakfast. อ่านต่อ

My wife and I were there for 6 days and loved the Hotel. Wevwere not happy eitg the 1st room we were given but Sa was excellent. They did not have a pool facong room on the day but Sa changed our room the next day. The rest of the staff at the front desk and concierge were also fab. Cheers to AGATE. อ่านต่อ

Walking distance to the beach, but they have a free tuktuk that will take you around the area. Great breakfast buffet (mostly Thai but they do have some western selections). Good coffee and breads. This hotel is located near the gay section of Jomtien beach (not an issue with us), but just something to be aware of. The rooms were very modern, clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again. Great staff, very helpful. อ่านต่อ

This is a great hotel for relaxing with incredible pools and an excellent breakfast. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I'm planning to change my next reservations to this hotel. อ่านต่อ

From the entrance (which is surrounded by massage parlours and bars in a mainly gay area) you would not believe that it was possible to find such a great hotel! This really is an oasis and its claim to being a 'boutique resort', unlike some places you go to, is absolutely true. The two swimming pools are surrounded by lush gardens in a surprisingly quiet environment. The four floors just keep it small enough to have all the facilities without the crowds. Everything in the place is well maintained with, of course, the usual smiling, friendly Thai staff. The fourth floor room I stayed in was excellent with a nice balcony overlooking the pool that got just the right amount of sun. At breakfast there was no freshly ground coffee, whole wheat bread, muesli or bacon which I consider a sign of a great breakfast, but the rest - yogurt, eggs, limited fruits and mixed Thai dishes was enough to last you hours up to a late lunch. All in all it’s a pretty amazing place. The trouble is, as always, I want to keep it quiet so that it’s not fully booked the next time I want to stay! อ่านต่อ

Pattaya Jomtien is a tourist hub. This hotel is a five minute walk from the beach. It's got a pleasant ambience, great staff, is bang in the middle of a whole lot of nightlife, yet quiet enough in the room not to realize it. Everything worked perfectly. From The air-conditioning to the various gadgets in the room. The room service was good. Prompt. The breakfast was very filling and had something for everyone. I'd recommend this hotel anytime. Great location - 10 minutes walk to the beach. Very polite staff with good English. Nice rooms - decent size, comfy beds, nice balconies, great bathrooms, a decent breakfast is usually included. Negatives are - the place attracts a lot of families with screeching children, who swim in BOTH pools, meaning adults have nowhere to relax. Why not make 1 of the pools child free? Rooms have nice balconies - but no chairs to sit on! TV system has very few English speaking programmes. อ่านต่อ

The Agate is a nice hotel. Located in the mainly gay Jomtien complex but away from too much noise, the hotel is only 5 minutes from the beach. It is designed around two courtyards with small, pleasant pools. The rooms are good sized with balconies. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The room has a cupboard, desk, fridge and safe. English TV channels were limited and reception quality poor. Wifi virtually non-existent in room, needed to be in lobby. Breakfast buffet good, pools nice. The ‘fitness’ area they advertise is two machines outdoors including a treadmill that is unsafe. It is quite a nice place but the negatives mentioned above make its value for money poor and we probably wouldn’t stay again. อ่านต่อ
