It was really a 5 stars hotel. Excellent resorts. It was so beautiful. Service was really good, breakfasts are amazing, lots of choices and delicious. The materials decorating the suite were top notch. I like their interior designs. We hire a motorcycle and went on day trips ourselves. Spent the nights in the resorts. Extremely comfortable. Love that in a short walk out the front doors you can find cheaper options for dining and drinks, unlike some hotels where you can only eat at the hotel.

The rooms were huge...Lived up to it's 5 star rating. Was there on honeymoon and they made up the room very well and gave us a comp bottle of fiz! I ate both nights in this hotel and the food was very nice. Breakfast was decent also. I was on my honeymoon and they made the room up and as it was my birthday when I was there also they made me a cake. Made to feel very welcome. Only thing with 5 star hotels is they tend to like to try and rip you off, price of drinks, trips, taxis etc. Probably teaching my grannies to suck eggs but I just arrange all of these things out with the hotel.... The small village beside the hotel has places to eat also and several bars. I didnt hire a bike here as the roads are a bit too much up and down roller coaster for my liking. Beach front villas are amazing, staff are very friendlythis was our second stay at rasananda. becoming a part of the anantara family has been a good move for the resort. many improvements have been made, while the charm and luxury that had already set the resort apart from others have remained intact. it truly is a stunning place to stay, and the wonderful staff always make sure that any and every whim is catered for.
one thing worth mentioning is to be wary of the time of year you decide to stay. this year we just caught the end of the monsoon season, so the weather was a little unpredictable. not unpleasant, but not the gorgeous constant sunshine of our last visit either. the beach also retreats a bit during this time of year due to the large waves, and is not nearly as wide and spectacular.อ่านต่อ

Breakfast offers a full selection to meet all tastes and you can sit al fresco overlooking the palm fringed bay.
Hotel managers, head chef talk to guests on a daily basis to ensure guests needs are met.

Resort grounds are truly beautiful, staff is amazing, so is the restaurant (especially the breakfast menu).The village nearby is very small, don't expect a lot of nightlife or shopping.We loved our stay in the Rasananda resort. We were travelling with our 1,5 year old boy and the staff couldn't have been more perfect with him. The beach is very beautiful and safe for small children. It was our second time in Thailand, we've been to Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Kog Phangan and the Rasananda was the best resort we've stayed in, and not even the most expensive!อ่านต่อ

location, privacy, atmosphere, whole setup non reallyWe had a fantastic very romantic weekend in the Rasananda Phangan. The hotel is by far one of the most tastefully done setups I have stayed at. Our intention was to go and party at the full moon party but we ended up staying at our beach villa watching the full moon from our pool sala. The following day we had a very good breakfast in the beach restaurant followed by a couple of cocktails at the pool bar. The rest of the day we just spend at the beach and the villa. very high quality rooms, good service , amazing beach.The service is too much, more than required, in some cases uncomfortableI would recomend any one to who would like to enjoy this part of thialand to coem over and enjoy in this hotel.
The best thing about it is that its located on an amazing beach which lets you enjoy a peace of mind yet at the same time offers you excess to all that you would like if you want some excitement such as water sport and land activity of allmkinds.
The one thing that I personaly didn't enjoy from the hotel is that over service that the staff in the hotel provide which gives an uncofortable feeling at times which is way to formal for a hotel in thialand....อ่านต่อ

Big thank you to the brilliant staff at Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan, I travelled with my girlfriend as we are on honeymoon trip and it would not have been possible if without them.!!
When we arrived and enter to the reception there are staffs came to approached and greeting me also helper to carry are luggage. There was a real sense of sincere appreciation in the warm welcome from everyone that helped us settle in. I also share the staff that we are here for honeymoon and requested special bed decoration for my girlfriend which is for my surprise have exceeded my expectation by assigning a private villa for me and this extraordinary service continued through my stay in exceeding my requested!! Especially big thank to K.Sun ,K.Aom at Edge2O bar, K.Tua &K.Akma at the Bistro rest, K. Pair and K. Lek at the front office (they have been done the great job) and K. Sam the driver. We stayed in one of the Ocean View Pool Villas over December 2016 (No 11). If you want you own piece of heaven, right at the beach (20 meters then you in the sea) with lots of space (m2)) then look no further and make a booking.
The Ocean View Pool Villas are spacious with all amenities you require. If you have Apple devices, you have access to Apple TV to sit through any rainy day, when going to the beach is not an option or when you have seen what the island can offer.
The breakfast in the mornings are good enough to satisfy all tastes. Breakfast is served on a sand floor, so don't be surprised when you arrive.
Be aware that you are in a jungle environment and bugs (mosquitoes and the like) are everywhere. The resort offers a spray, but it is recommended to bring your own as well.
The nearby village is really close, approximately 200 meters from the resort. The are numerous ATM's with little family run restaurants that serve authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. There are also two or three supermarkets that sell all essential goods.
Overall the Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas can be recommended.อ่านต่อ

I travelled here with my partner for my birthday weekend. The staff made us feel at home and totally pampered from the get go. And they even surprised me with a birthday slice of cheesecake at breakfast the next day, it was amazing how they were using some sort of facial recognition system to keep a track of who we were!
